NICOLAS MORIN
Nicolas Morin, originally from the Vosges, began his career as a cooper before gaining experience in viticulture and winemaking in France, Australia, and South Africa. In 2014, he founded Maison Nicolas Morin in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Passionate about organic and biodynamic farming, Nicolas follows a gentle, low-intervention approach in the cellar, with careful extraction, selective use of whole clusters, and minimal or no sulphur. As a former cooper, he also makes his own barrels, using oak subtly to enhance texture without overpowering the wines. His wines are fresh, fruit-driven and terroir-focused, offering a modern expression of Burgundy.
